The story of how Summit Thrift came to be is a journey of determination through many hills, valleys, and reaching new summits.
Seth’s Summit Thrift Store was conceived out of the prayers of a mother for her son. For years even before Seth finished high school, I had been in prayer about what area of future employment would be a good fit for Seth. Seth does not drive, and as his primary driver, I knew that it had to be something not too far from home, and that it needed to be something that would work for both of us. I knew that I had to find a way to share his love for people and his unique view of the world with others, while also allowing him to further his education, work experience, communication, social and life skills. I focused in on his strength and always knew he could impact the world for good.
